The City of Iola now has its own phone number, which is 394-2110 and an email address of iola@windstream.net

The Board of Alderman will be ordering an election to elect two alderman and the Mayor. The election will take place in May.

February 6 thru May 8 is the time to sign up if you would like to run for a position on the council. The city of Iola's next meeting will be held on February 9, 2010 at 7:00 P.M. at the Iola Community Center. The city of Iola is currently working on the wastewater treatment plant project.
